Settlers Ridge is an amazing place. It's a shopping mall built around a grocery store. But what a grocery store! This is a Giant Eagle on steroids. It has its own food court, its own buffet, its own wine section, its own cheese section, whole aisles of imports, chefs who cut your meats and other specialties to order, lots of items to sample, and the greatest variety of fruits and vegetables within a day's drive. It's a grocery shopper's Disney World. You can spend an entire afternoon in here, just wandering around, checking labels, inspecting new foods, having lunch or dinner. Outside, there's the area's megamovieplex, outdoor adventure stores, hobby shops, boutiques, bookstores and, of course, a dozen restaurants. They include Pizza, Thai, Gourmet Burgers, and even a Cadillac Ranch and PF Chang's. And it's convenient. Just drive out Coraopolis Heights Road, turn east on the Parkway, and go to the Settlers Ridge Exit.
